For those who don't know me, I am known as a computer freak, always on facebook, msn (adium = the best msn client ever!) do my daily training log on http://www.trackie.ca/ , now twitter (follow me) and getting pretty addicted to it. So I had to start a blog too, don't really know what i'll write, but it would be mostly track related, cause track is my life of course.
I don't really have something to write right now, but the only thing I can think of is that this morning I added a bunch of track stars on twitter, and it got me thinking how much I want to be these guys, I dream about it all the time and would really like it to get to that point sometime in my life. With me being injured for 16 months now, I have learned a lot in that period of time. The number one thing I learned is to be patient! In the first couple month of my injury I was always tempted to start training full out and I eventually re-injured myself a couple time cause I couldn't wait for it to be at 100%. In the past couple months the problem is slowly getting better and I keep trying to get back my regular training, but I can now pace myself and say: "Hey man, don't force it, its not worth it right now, keep it on the down low".
So now that I have a better patience, I am confident that I can get to that point, and be cool about the time its gonna take to get there. Now I just need to keep doing it. One jump at a time.
